Now this was just a dream - but it got me thinking and made me realise that this particular basic fact is the one thing that astrology hangs on - that moment in time and place that forever becomes immersed in meaning.
Not everyone goes to the trouble of exploring the meaning of astrology but what is so incredible is that those reverberations of that one moment in time continue down the years, like a butterfly effect. Your life is a subjective experience and considering fate and freewill, this can be seen as as outer influences (fate) and inner influences (free will). The two are not separate and some people will turn those fated moments into something to their advantage or detriment.
How often to do you hear of a successful enterprise or opportunity that started off with an idea, a fated moment recognised as such by a person, and yet ignored or not recognised by everyone else? It gives rise to that phrase, 'I wish I'd thought of that.." and yet it is the Will that manifests the idea into tangible.
So many self help courses and books are based on the idea of being ready to receive, or being in a state of expectation. We are surrounded by these little bubbles of possibility all day and everyday but how many of us see them?
In a birth chart, the Will is represented by the Sun. Fate is represented by the continuous movement and patterns created by the planets in their orbits around the Sun. At times, these will interact with the Sun in the birth chart. 'Fate'
can awaken the sun to act and bring forth.
What of the nature of these patterns? An astrologer interprets the themes represented in the symbolism of the planet and links this to where in your life these energies are directed. Several of these dynamic interplays are going on at any one time. Sieze the Day, if you wish, or not, the choice is yours. Life is hard, but does astrology make it easier? Not always, but it brings understanding to enable you to realise how much power you have to create the life you want, or understand the life you have.
To be detached from the belief that the reason you are here today is as a result of circumstances and someone else's influence, to have conscious awareness of being able to willingly give up your choices to Fate or to consciously take the reins and be the author or your own life is literally, life changing.

Right now you have the planet Saturn going through your chart area of relationships. Saturn can certainly teach you to get real, and it could be thatyou need to be choosy for a while. It's more about quality than quantity, and it could be that you need to be patient too. The best things are worth waiting for! By December you may feel the pressure is off somewhat as at the moment, chances are there is a degree of frustration and maybe someone you know is giving you the runaround.
As far as luck is concerned, Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, is making good links to your ruling planet,Uranus and will be for the rest of November. This means that you are encouraged to make the most of opportunities, and you may find that things don't turn out quite the way you planned, so be open to all sorts of interesting possibilities.

Recently I had a dream that a person wanted me to draw a birth chart for a friend.
We went through everything and then she said she wasn't sure to the actual day of birth.
I said, in that case I couldn't draw up her birth chart. She said, did it matter that much?'

"I first became interested in Astrology after being dragged to
an evening talk by my inquisitive mother who was concerned
to take my mind off an imminent divorce! I was intrigued and
took up a course which later resulted in my Diploma in Astrology.
For a long period Astrology was just a paying hobby and an
interest for study. It can take longer to qualify as a Professional
Astrologer than the time it takes a doctor and this was certainly the case for me. (In fact the study never ends, I am always learning from people and new life experience let alone the 30 books that are by my bedside at any one time!)
Then I met Spooky (aka: Simon P Kershaw), a former graphic designer and illustrator who having ended a technology business and a relationship (classic Saturn return at age 29 !) had become interested in Astrology through "seeking hope" in daily Sun Signs and a chance meeting with the late Patrick Walker a leading Astrologer at the time.
In a fairy tale story, Simon was advised to see a very good Tarot Card reader called Ann, who on hearing Simons growing interest in Astrology suggested that he meet me (an existing client) to learn more about Astrology with the words "you two will get on very well"!
Thanks Ann you little matchmaker! No kidding, within a short time we were living and plotting together and I got a bit of a push (and a lot of help) making Astrology much more of a career.
Simon (Aquarius), went on to become a Senior Producer with a computer games company called Digital Image Design, (where the originally derogatory nickname Spooky Kershaw was acquired after he turned up one day with Annabel Burton Astrology painted across his car after FBI agent Mulder in the TV series the X-files and Simons initials!
I saw clients personally here and there in between lots of other jobs (Gemini, what can you expect). When the Computer Games company split up through board room politics, Simon left the industry and used his time to teach himself the basics of web site production.
After buying a home computer and seeing the internet for the first time, the first web site 'Astrology UK' was started with two visitors a week in February 2000. I had a platform to talk about Astrology with other like minded individuals.
By Christmas, while Simon was working as a Project Manager with Pan European Internet Service Provider: 'World Online' it was becoming obvious that waiting for cheques in the post for online orders needed to improve just a bit in order to service 800 visitors a day!
Over the Christmas period a new web design and e-commerce facilities (secure online credit card payment), were not only learned about from scratch but largely implemented! In March 2001 a new look astrology-uk.net was launched PLUS horoscope-uk.net and annabelburton.com.
