What's more, not only is it free...it is without question one of the best holistic magazines that I have ever read and rather than skimming articles or flicking through glossy pages flicking chocolate flakes in my wake, I found myself reading - nay glued - to every article.

If you are a healer, or in anyway interested in holistic medicine and therapies, there is an absolute abundance within these pages to keep you truly riveted, interested, updated and informed.  The content is exceptionally well written - many articles by recognised holistic practitioners - and whilst not 'dumbing down' information, delivers it in an 'easy to read' style that is engaging and informative.

Each issue has its regular features such as its news page (keeping you informed of news in the holistic arena), Mailbox (one of the best letter pages I've seen), What the Media Say (keeping you abreast of developments within the mainstream journals), Diary Dates of upcoming healing workshops, seminars and demonstrations, a list of complimentary practitioners and details of healing centers near you - and much more.

Mingled with this are the features that range from 'Healing & Cancer', 'Scanning the Energy Field', 'The Healers Guide to Beating Yourself Up' and many more worthy of note that space on this page will not allow for.

Whilst, like all magazines, there are several advertisements scattered through the pages, unlike other magazines, I neither found these annoying or distracting.  The advertisements are well targeted for the reader and there are many that I myself found very interesting (may have even convinced Mr. Psychic Fairy to take me on a Mind, Body & Spirit cruise because of it!)

With all of this information about what is IN the magazine, I think it is worthy of note the history of the magazine.

The magazine started in the late seventies and was specifically designed to bridge the boundaries between healing, other complimentary therapies and conventional medicine.  Demand for the magazine has grown and now, having just celebrated its 100th issue, has a readership in the region of 50,000 people.

Downsides of the magazine are that it is not readily available 'off the shelf' - but I would definitely recommend that you pay the postage and packing costs to get it delivered straight through your postbox.  The only other thing that I would make you aware of is that unlike its 'on the shelf' counterparts, it does not go in for the traditional 'glossy' look and the artwork is more for illustration than effect.  However, in my humble opinion, this adds rather than detracts from the 'soul' of this magazine and should not put you off.

If you are a healer or have an interest in healing, then getting this magazine is really going to be something that will enhance your ideas, beliefs and understanding.  In fact, I would say that this magazine is an absolute must.
