Life force energy is available to all!
The teaching of Reiki, the method of which was brought to the awareness of the people from all walks of life, regardless of religion race or creed, by Dr Mikao Usui, was the result of his journey to find the method by which Jesus, the physical Christ, was able to release the disease that affected limbs, blood, skin, glands and organs etc that are the ‘whole’ of us.
When this Universal Life Energy poured through Jesus into his hands, and he placed them on the affected parts of each person, a miracle often occurred. The energy of the Universal Life Force connected with the higher selves of the Channel and recipient. Then cells, blood, glands and nerves, released any negative imprints and became whole, or partially whole, depending on what had been the disturbance within the being (recipient).
Today, this can still happen if the recipient is ready to release what is stopping their full connection with good health, and, a miracle can occur.
These days because we are so ‘ sophisticated’ it may sometimes take a little longer, some things go very deep within our psyche. Memories pushed down may be too painful to acknowledge and sometimes, as with a bruise, the pain can feel more intense for a few days until it feels safe to release it again. All negative energy does once released, go back to the earth to be transmuted into positive and usable energy…. nothing is wasted…. all is returned!

Dr Milkao UsuiThe total being is in a constant state of growing, changing and evolving. Yet, still trying to keep in balance while doing so. Extremes or tremendous stress to either, the physical body, the mental constitution, or the emotional state can bring on a crisis, which precipitates a transformation or negative change within us.
When the symptoms are manifest in our bodies, we call this change ‘ disease’ or ‘ injury’ but it is often only then that many of us start to seek a deeper understanding of why this has happened? Perhaps this initial motivation is just to escape from the discomfort of the disease, but if we pursue this, it often becomes a lifelong spiritual quest.
Reiki is a wonderful tool in this quest!
When symptoms manifest in our bodies the thought arises: Why is this happening to me? What truly is health? What is life? What happens when we die? Who am I really? What is the meaning of it all?
Raising of consciousness…. moving towards wholeness, balance and harmony with our Inner Spirit, often happens as a result of searching for these answers. Shifts occur on all levels –mind – body - and soul.
In any ‘ healings ’ more takes place the removal of physical discomfort (which may or may not happen)
As the shifting consciousness occurs, all parts of our being manifests a spiritual harmony, a move towards unity with the Source whatever we perceive that to be, and onwards towards real health!
Reiki Master Ethel Lombardi has described it as a love force….
“Love is the reason why healing takes place. When the receiver feels enough love to be sufficiently secure to face what has to be faced, they will receive healing and begin their spiritual evolution.”What you will experience as a Reiki Channel
Every therapist will have a store of wonderful quotes and sayings from their clients. Sometimes the Reiki energy is experienced by them as heat, and sometimes as cold or tingling sensations… or on the other hand sometimes as nothing at all!
One client told me once that it was like being curled up in your grannies lap… safe warm and totally beloved!
Reiki does not discriminate, even the most sceptical receiver’s body will utilise this energy to heal itself in some way, believe me the recipient does not need to believe in Reiki….. Fortunately Reiki believes in them!
